This home sits on the banks of the Mississippi river. It has one acre of land, and features a bicycle path in the front yard, and a train track in the back yard, as well as splendid views and serenety. Fresh raspberries and blackberries grow along the south side of the property in season, and there is a huge yard for kids to play in. The train track has a small train that usually runs once a day during the week between noon and 5pm. It is restricted to 10 mph, and our son looks forward to it coming. The engineer is very friendly. Across the tracks is a nice small grassy area where one could cast a fishing line out into the river.

We bought this house as a fixer-upper, and it is still a work in progress. We look forward to each and every time we get to stay there, as we hope you will do the same.

Back yardAdmittedly, a train track in the back yard may not be considered a desirable feature, however the train only travels during the day, and is restricted to a speed of 10 miles per hour. The drivers are very friendly and wave to the people in their yards.

Family roomThe family room has two couches and zero televisions. We have struggled with this decision, but find that there is so much to do outside here that we have enjoyed not having a TV.
